Electronic Arts (EA), a leading global interactive entertainment software company, launched a multi-million dollar global marketing campaign for upcoming video game Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. The Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit advertising campaign will focus on television and online commercials featuring the two actors Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara. Kevin Dillon best known as Johnny “Drama” Chase from the TV hit Entourage. Jerry Ferrara famous for his work as “Turtle” aka Sal on the same HBO comedy series Entourage. In the commercials both comedian actors paying parking valets who during the days work at a prestigious hotel and get frustrated that they sit in the driver’s seat of some of the most amazing cars in the world only to park them tens of meters away from valet station at 5mph speed. In the fiction of the campaign, these guys can only live out their fantasies of reaching 200mph by playing Need for Speed Hot Pursuit and besting each other’s top scores. This whole idea of “loser by day, hero by night” is transmitted through a very intelligent humor.
